While there are several events to enjoy in Murfreesboro each week, here are four very exciting events to take part in this February in Murfreesboro.
Southern Invitational Truck and Tractor Pull (February 1st - 2nd)
There are not many events more unique to the city of Murfreesboro than the Southern Indoor Truck and Tractor Pull, which is set to take place the first weekend of February.
This competition is sure to deliver a high level of excitement, and it is a friendly environment for children and adults alike. Therefore come out and enjoy a good time of delicious food, cold refreshments and exciting truck and tractor pulls.
This event is held at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. and Saturday night at 7:00. Admission is $15 and kids 10 and under are free.
Chinese New Year Celebration (February 8th)
The Chinese New Year Celebration in Murfreesboro is a unique opportunity to experience Chinese culture and the fun, exciting atmosphere that surrounds a Chinese New Year celebration.
Come out and support the Center for Chinese Music and Culture and join in on the fun as there will be fantastic music, magical dragons and much more. The Chinese New Year Celebration is a great opportunity to teach yourself and your children about Chinese culture.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m. on the downtown square in Murfreesboro on February 8th. The admission is completely free for everyone who shows up.
The 6th Annual Murfreesboro Mardi Gras (February 9th)
Most events in Murfreesboro welcome the entire family - this is not one of those events. The 6th Annual Murfreesboro Mardi Gras is a 21 and older event, and a great opportunity to let loose and enjoy a wonderful evening of delicious food, dancing and of course a few alcoholic beverages.
This event will be held at the Stones River Country Club and is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th.
For prepay tickets the cost is $55 per person and $75 at the door. Be sure to keep in mind that this is a black tie affair, so men be sure to dress in an elegant manner and ladies it’s time to bring out your favorite dress.
2019 Southern Equine Expo (February 22nd - 24th)
Calling all horse lovers: The Southern Equine Expo returns to Murfreesboro this February 22nd through 24th and will be held at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro.
The Expo includes exciting clinics, hands-on demonstrations and wonderful shopping opportunities for all who are interested in horses.
